The making of.......My Easy Street Mysterty!

The Top is Finished!

Next step ....... sandwiching with WOL! And then quilting on the machine. Although I did a free motion workshop at Karen Lipton, I'll quilt it  less FREE motion. After that workshop, I couldn't practise because the machine went for reparation.

Let's start thinking about what quilt design I'll use ....... straight, oblique, circular, horizontally or vertically?

############

I almost complete, my beautiful Easy Street!

I'll slowly finish the top of the Easy Street.
There are quite a lot of pieces that you need to put together.
Until now, the steps were easy to follow,
but the sting is in the tail!!!

##############

Between the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I have my share of part 5 is ready.
My curiosity grows and grows through the week, or honestly ..... the day!
When and what will the finale be?!

##############

The fourth week already! Again flying geese this week!
Lucky me,
I like to make them!
Not very much to say about this week.
Look for yourself....fun fun fun!!

################

Now we have the third week.....a new color.
What are we going to do with the aqua......

It's going to be  brown!
For me it's now a double mystery. I have no idea if the fabrics I choose will fit in the Easy Street. On the picture this brown looks a little bit the same as the brown of the first week. But in real this brown is darker......

I was planning to go for 2/3 but I think I'm going to change my plan and go for 3/4.......
just like my OrcaBay last year.

####################

For the second week I had to start thinking about what colors I wanted to continue.........
The purple become petrol, so these are my flying gees

################
This year I wasn't going to join the mystery because of all my other ufo's.....are waiting to be finished!

At the very last moment I couldn't resist the very BIG attraction of the Mystery, so with the stach I had at home I began........

  9. You sound like me - I wasn't going to do the mystery this time, but I caved in. And I'm not doing the same colors, but you are braver than me. I'm waiting just a little while longer to see where the colors need to go. I really like your choices so far!!

  11. Very Nice selection of colors. I agree it is a lot of sewing. I still have four blocks to do before I can start putting it together. I hope to finish this weekend.
